Climate Innovation Platform (CIP)

In August 2022, Sherwood Power joined the esteemed Climate Innovation Platform (CIP) as part of its second cohort of 14 SMEs dedicated to advancing energy technology innovation. The CIP program, backed by HSBC UK and the European Regional Development Fund and facilitated by the University of Birmingham in collaboration with Energy Systems Catapult, offers a comprehensive package of support. This initiative aids Sherwood Power in accelerating the commercialization of their innovative energy solutions. As a participant, Sherwood Power benefits from a range of services including business engagement, mentorship, market insights, funding opportunities, regulatory guidance, and access to the incubation space at Tyseley Energy Park.

During a recent two-day induction, Sherwood Power not only presented their business pitch to investors but also engaged in tailored sessions addressing their specific business needs and toured the Tyseley Energy Park, gaining valuable insights and opportunities for growth.
