Jim Dryburgh

Jim is an accomplished Project and Commissioning & Start-Up leader with over three decades of experience across global Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy projects. He has led major commissioning & start-up, and operational readiness programs for Air Products, BP, Husky, Imperial Oil, Chevron, Shell, and ExxonMobil. A former Royal Navy Marine Engineering Artificer, Jim is recognised for his ability to build and motivate multi‑disciplinary teams, drive safe and efficient project delivery, and manage complex interfaces across construction, commissioning, and operations.

His recent work includes serving as MEET Director of Commissioning & Start-Up for the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, overseeing strategy, execution, and operational handover across the Middle East portfolio.

Jim brings deep expertise in systems completion, risk management, HSSE leadership, and project execution, with a proven track record of delivering facilities safely, on schedule, and to specification.
